PCAP Express POS/ATM Adapters ensure that wide area network traffic can be monitored and analyzed as easily as Ethernet traffic. With the exception of the link layer interface, PCAP Express POS/ATM adapters are functionally equivalent to the Ethernet versions. The adapter manages the reconstruction of IP packets for analysis by host applications on standard commodity hardware.
